1. Amla (amla for thyroid)

While we all know that amla is great for our health, it can also help in keeping our thyroid healthy. Amla contains eight times more vitamin C than orange and about 17 times more than pomegranate. This Indian fruit deserves its superfood status.

It is a proven tonic for hair. It slows down greying, prevents dandruff, strengthens hair follicles and increases blood circulation to the scalp thereby improving hair growth.

How to do-

  • Take 1 teaspoon amla powder with organic honey or take amla juice with warm water half an hour before breakfast daily.

2. Banana (banana for thyroid)

Have you ever wondered what are the properties of bananas that are considered good for health, then let us tell you that apart from being rich in vitamin B6, banana is also a good source of vitamin C, dietary fiber and manganese. Bananas are fat, cholesterol and sodium free. 

While bananas may seem like a common fruit, they have powerful properties to help heal your thyroid disease, conditions and symptoms. Bananas help restore neurotransmitters and support healing from neurological problems, which are among the symptoms of thyroid. Banana is best for hyperthyroidism.

3. Coconut

Coconut is one of the best foods for women with thyroid problems, be it raw coconut or coconut oil. It improves slow and dull metabolism. Coconut is rich in MCFAs i.e. medium chain fatty acids and MTCs i.e. Medium chain triglycerides which help in improving metabolism.

What to do-

  • Consume 1-2 teaspoons of virgin cold pressed coconut oil with warm water first thing in the morning.
