Chatpata Corner: make tasty and Spicy Besan Bread Toast, know how to make them...


4 slices of bread

half cup besan

1-1 Onion and Tomato, 2 Green Chillies, 2 tbsp Green Coriander (All four chopped)

half tsp asafoetida

half cup of fresh yogurt


Ghee as required

Cumin Powder, Chaat Masala, Red Chilli Powder, Turmeric Powder and

salt to taste

Make a thick batter by mixing gram flour, onion, tomato, green chili, green coriander, half a cup of curd, some water, asafoetida, and all the powdered spices and salt in a bowl.

Heat ghee in a nonstick pan.

Dip the bread slices in the gram flour batter and place them on the pan.

Pour some ghee on top of the bread.


Bake the bread on both sides till it becomes golden and crispy.

Serve with green chutney.
