It also contains chemicals that can act like water pills (diuretics) and can alter blood sugar levels and help reduce inflammation.

Ingredients for Corn Silk Tea

  • Corn silk - 1 tbsp 
  • Water - 1 cup 
  • Lemon - as per taste

Method to prepare and use:-

  • Boil 1 tbsp corn silk (drained and chopped) in water.
  • Once it boils, cover the pan. 
  • Leave it like this for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Then squeeze a lemon and drink it.
  • You can store leftover tea in your refrigerator for 2 to 3 days.

Helpful in weight loss 

Obesity is a common problem that worries almost everyone. Although there are many reasons for obesity, some women accumulate extra fat in the body due to water retention and the accumulation of toxins.
