Two beets, two potatoes, one teaspoon cumin powder, red chili powder, one teaspoon chaat masala, oil for frying, and salt as per taste.


How to make Beetroot and Potato Cutlets
First of all, wash the beetroot thoroughly. Then boil the beetroot along with the potatoes. When both of them boil. Then cool them and remove the peel. Then mash the potatoes in a bowl. Take out the peel of the beet and mash it as well. Add cumin powder, coriander powder, chaat masala powder, black salt, and a little white salt to the mashed beetroot and potato.

Also, add finely chopped green chilies. And also finely chop green coriander and mix it. Add little red chili powder according to taste. If you are making it for children, then add less red chili. Now mix all the things well. If they are sticking, then you can add a little cornstarch to them. Now apply this mixture with oil in your hands and give it the shape of a cutlet.


Put oil in the pan and heat it on the gas. When the oil becomes hot, add cutlets and fry them. Fry it in turn till it becomes golden. When they turn golden brown, take them out and serve them on a plate.
