Royal Challengers Bangalore secured their long-awaited trophy by winning the Women's Premier League (WPL) 2024 title. While the men's team has not yet won the Indian Premier League (IPL) title, the women's team was successful in winning the title in the second season of the Women's Premier League itself. As Smriti Mandhana's team won the title by defeating Delhi Capitals in the final on Sunday, the franchise's former men's team owner Vijay Mallya took to social media to congratulate the team.

After the final, RCB women's team captain Smriti Mandhana said that after their failure to win the Women's Premier League last year, they got solid support from the management, which helped them a lot in winning the title here on Sunday. She said the 2023 campaign "taught us a lot of things" as her team won the title by defeating Delhi Capitals by eight wickets.
