Many records have been made so far in the 17th edition of the Indian Premier League. Now a shameful record has been registered in the name of a young cricketer in this tournament. South African young fast bowler Kwena Mafaka has made his IPL debut for Mumbai Indians against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Quena Mafaka has registered a shameful record in his very first IPL match. In the Rajiv Gandhi International match in Hyderabad, the 17-year-old fast bowler was badly beaten by the Sunrisers Hyderabad batsmen.

Mafaka, who took the most wickets in the recently concluded Under-19 World Cup, spent 66 runs in a spell of 4 overs without taking any wickets in his IPL debut match.

This is the highest run scored by a bowler in an IPL debut match. In this matter, he has broken the record of fast bowler Michael Neser. While making his debut for Punjab Kings 11 years ago, Neser had conceded 62 runs in the match against RCB.
