According to them, Mumbai Indians was the most liked IPL team on social media.

Lucknow was the least popular team

The five-time champion team Mumbai Indians was mentioned the most on social media, 37.6 thousand times. After that comes Rajasthan Royals, who were mentioned 36.3 thousand times. Lucknow Super Giants was the least popular team according to the data. A company named Sprinklr says that they have collected these figures with the help of their special tool Sprinklr Insights. With this tool, they have collected mentions of teams from social media platforms like X and Reddit in India as well as some selected news media.

According to the data collected by a company called Sprinklr, MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli were the most talked about players. Dhoni was mentioned more than 86 thousand times on social media and Kohli was mentioned more than 77.9 thousand times. Among the foreign players, Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins was the most popular, he was mentioned online about 15 thousand times. Travis Head and KKR captain Shreyas Iyer were in fourth and fifth place with 12 thousand and 9.5 thousand mentions respectively.

If we talk about the cities where cricket was discussed the most, Mumbai and Delhi were on top in the whole country. According to the data, cricket was discussed about 30 thousand and 25 thousand times in these two cities during this period. After this comes Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, and Kolkata.
