IPL 2024: Final match will be played in Chepauk, Chennai, complete schedule released

This time the final match of the 17th edition of the Indian Premier League will not be played in the Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera, but in Chepauk, Chennai. The final match will be played on 26 May in Chepauk, Chennai.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India has also announced the schedule of the remaining matches of the IPL. Earlier, only the schedule till April 7 was released by the Indian Board. The first qualifier and eliminator of this edition of IPL will be played on May 21 and 22 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera.

The second qualifier and the final will be played on May 24 and 26 in Chepauk, Chennai. The entire 74 matches of the tournament will be played in India only. Earlier, due to the Lok Sabha elections, there were speculations that the remaining matches of the IPL could be played abroad. Now the Indian Cricket Board has put an end to this news.
