IPL 2024: Andre Russell achieved this big achievement in the Indian Premier League, made a place in the special club

KKR defeated RCB by seven wickets in the match played at Chinnaswamy ground on Friday in the 17th edition of the Indian Premier League. In this match, Kolkata Knight Riders star all-rounder Andre Russell also registered a big achievement in his name.

By taking two wickets in the match, he completed his hundred wickets in IPL. He took two wickets while conceding just 29 runs in his 4-over spell against RCB. With this, he has become the fifth cricketer to score 1000 runs and take 100 wickets in the Indian Premier League.

Earlier, India's Ravindra Jadeja, Dwayne Bravo, Axar Patel, and Sunil Narine have achieved this feat in IPL. In the match, RCB had given a target of 183 runs to KKR to win. KKR achieved this target in just 16.5 overs.
