IPL 2023: Shubman Gill created history in IPL, achieved this big achievement

Even though the defending champions Gujarat Titans had to face defeat against Chennai Super Kings in the first qualifier of the 16th season of IPL, but in this match, the team's opener Shubman Gill registered a record in his name. 

Shubman Gill scored 42 runs in 38 balls in this match, hitting four fours and a six. Through this innings, he has completed his 700 runs in IPL 2023. He became the youngest Indian batsman to achieve this feat.

Shubman Gill achieved this feat in 23 years 257 days. Earlier, former Indian captain Virat Kohli had achieved this feat. Shubman Gill has also become the second Indian cricketer to score more than seven hundred runs in IPL. Earlier in the year 2016 season, Virat Kohli has scored 973 runs. Shubman Gill now has 722 runs in 15 matches of IPL 16.
