IPL 2023: Shubman Gill broke this record by hitting 10 sixes in the playoffs

Shubman Gill, who has made a mark in IPL 16 on the basis of his aggressive batting, broke the dream of Mumbai Indians going to the final. Shubman Gill played a blistering inning of 129 runs in the match played on Friday. He faced just 60 balls and scored 129 runs, hitting his third century this season.

He also hit 10 sixes during this century. After which his name also became a big record. With this, he has become the player to hit the most sixes in an inning in IPL playoff matches. Now this record has been named after Gujarat Titans player Shubman Gill.

Earlier this record was in the name of Wriddhiman Saha, Chris Gayle, Virender Sehwag, and Shane Watson. There is a record of hitting 8-8 sixes in an innings in the name of all these players. But now Shubman Gill has made this record by hitting 10 sixes.
