IPL 2023 Qualifier 1: Chennai Super Kings reach final for the 10th time after victory over Gujarat

Chennai Super Kings defeated defending champions Gujarat Titans by 15 runs to enter the final of the Indian Premier League for the 10th time.
Titans were all out for 157 runs while chasing the target of 173 runs. CSK opener Ruturaj Gaikwad was given a second chance in the game at midwicket in the second over, but the delivery was declared a no ball. Gaikwad took full advantage of this opportunity and played a brilliant inning of 60 runs in 44 balls.
The CSK opening pair remained unbeaten in the first 10 overs but the Titans managed to claw their way back into the game. However, some powerful hitting from Ajinkya Rahane, Ambati Rayudu, Ravindra Jadeja and Moeen Ali helped CSK post a total of 172/7.
In response, the Titans struggle during their pursuit. Despite the efforts of Shubman Gill, who scored 42 off 38 balls. Rashid Khan came in and gave his team a ray of hope by scoring 30 runs in 16 balls.
