According to reports, China has even said in this regard that the people behind this attack should be immediately traced and the culprits should be given strict punishment. Now there are speculations that Beijing may put pressure on Islamabad to deploy its security agencies to protect the CPEC projects.

It is noteworthy that on Tuesday, a vehicle filled with explosives hit a bus of Chinese citizens in Pakistan's restive province Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Due to this, 6 people died. Five Chinese citizens have died in this. Let us tell you that this is the second suicide attack on personnel working on a China-backed hydropower project since 2021. China has taken a strict stance in this regard.
