It is not hidden from anyone how the minority community is being targeted in Bangladesh. People of the minority community and religious places are being attacked continuously in the country. America is also keeping an eye on this matter. Whitehouse said in its statement that President Biden is closely monitoring the situation in Bangladesh. Along with this, the White House said that the interim government of Bangladesh is responsible for these attacks. Talks have been held to improve the situation.

While talking to the media, White House National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby said that the security situation in Bangladesh remains complicated after the former Prime Minister stepped down. We are working closely with the interim government of Bangladesh to deal with this challenge so that the capacity of their law enforcement and security services can be increased.

In response to a question, Kirby said that we are having discussions with all the leaders of Bangladesh. We have clearly said that people of all communities in the country should be protected. Whether they are minorities or anyone else, it is the responsibility of the government to ensure their safety.

Demonstrations took place in many cities of America.

The violence in Bangladesh is also being opposed in America. Indian Americans recently held peaceful protests and marches in front of the White House in many cities including Chicago, New York, Detroit, Houston, and Atlanta. They appealed to President Biden to stop the ongoing atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh.

Earlier, Indian-American Congressman Raja Krishnamurthy urged members of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee to pay attention to the issue of violence against minorities, mainly Hindus, in Bangladesh.

Minorities are being targeted.

Since the coup in Bangladesh, minority communities, their establishments, and religious places have been targeted. Recently, many temples in Bangladesh were set on fire.
