When Ukraine attacked the Russian Muslim region, this leader got angry.
After the drone attack on the capital of Russia's Muslim-majority state of Chechnya, the region's leader Ramzan Kadyrov has vowed to take revenge. The Ukrainian army attacked Grozny, the capital of the Russian state of Chechnya, on Sunday, targeting a campus of the National Guard. After which Chechen leaders are furious.
Local leader Ramzan Kadyrov warned on his Telegram channel, “The next time you come up with the idea of attacking the Chechen Republic with drones, keep in mind that we will carry out selective attacks on places where Ukrainian armed forces personnel gather.”
The attack was carried out by three drones.
The Ukrainian army on Sunday attacked the capital Grozny with three drones. This was the second such attack on the area in a week. According to Kadyrov, there were no casualties in this attack, as the air defense shot down two enemy UAVs. The third drone fell on the premises of the National Guard of Russia.
200 Ukrainian soldiers were killed!
Kadyrov said that after the attack he informed the Russian military about the locations of Ukrainian soldiers. According to him, two Iskander missiles attacked a facility in the city of Kharkiv in the afternoon, killing 200 soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. There were reports in the Ukrainian media about the attack on the city, but the death of the soldiers has not been reported. The Russian Defense Ministry has also not yet officially commented on the attack.
For more than two years, there have been military clashes from both sides as well as attacks on cities with rockets and missiles. A few hours before the attack, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky posted a post on the social media platform X, in which he mentioned how many times Russia had attacked Ukraine in a week. Zelensky shared a 44-second video and told in the post how many attacks Russian soldiers have carried out on Ukraine this week alone.
