When Kejriwal was discussed in Pakistan's Supreme Court, Imran Khan gave a strange argument

Former Pakistan Prime Minister and PTI chief Imran Khan has been kept in the high-security Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi since September last year. He was arrested on August 5 after being convicted in the Toshakhana corruption case and kept in the district jail in Attock. However, he was later transferred to another jail.

Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan

Discussion about India is common in Pakistan, but this is perhaps the first time that the Supreme Court's decision is cited as an example. All this was done by Pakistan's former PM Imran Khan. Imran Khan complained to the Supreme Court about the mistreatment being done in jail and during this time he also cited the example of granting bail to Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal.

According to a PTI report, Imran Khan told the Supreme Court that on one hand there is India where Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal gets relief from the Supreme Court. Kejriwal campaigns in the general elections, but in Pakistan he is facing atrocities. There is an undeclared martial law in the country. The former Prime Minister also expressed displeasure over the order of Pakistan's top court, in which the request of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to livestream the case was rejected.

Imran said- I was kept away from the elections

Khan complained to the Supreme Court that he was convicted within five days to keep him away from the general elections held in Pakistan on February 8. Khan told the Chief Justice that you wrote (in the decision) that I tried to take political advantage during the last hearing. I do not understand what political advantage I took.

Demand to appoint NAB chairman

On this, the Chief Justice said that the judge is not obliged to clarify to anyone on the decision. He said you can file a petition for a review of the decision. He asked the former Prime Minister to speak only on pending cases before the court. Khan said that the Supreme Court should appoint a chairman for the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

Justice called it unfortunate

After hearing the arguments put forward by Imran, Justice Minallah said that it is unfortunate that Khan is in jail even though he is the head of a big party that has millions of supporters. However, Justice Mandokhel said in a lighter vein that Nawaz Sharif is not in jail right now, do you want us to send him to jail? After this, the Chief Justice said that the court would arrange for a surprise visit by the judicial officer.
