UAE : Allowed to grant tourist visa to Indians abroad for 14 days
Apart from India, the facility of entry into the UAE was also given to the citizens of Pakistan, Nepal, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, and Uganda.
The UAE has allowed such Indian passport holders to come here on tourist visas, who are present in any other country outside India for the last 14 days. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has suspended all movement in the country except its citizens and transit passengers as part of measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
Gulf News said in its report on Sunday, apart from India, the facility of entry into the UAE has also been given to citizens of Pakistan, Nepal, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, and Uganda after being out of the country for 14 days. The report said that all tourist visa holders will have to undergo a polymerase chain reaction test on arrival and on the 9th day thereafter.
