The court said in its decision that America's newly elected President Donald Trump will not get any relief due to his position in the secret money case (hush money case), due to which his May sentence will remain intact.

What is hush money case?

Donald Trump's relationship with adult star Stormy Daniels was much discussed during the 2016 presidential election. Stormy Daniels was threatening to make her relationship with Trump public. After this, Donald Trump secretly gave her money. After which Trump has been convicted of tampering with business records to hide the payment of 1 lakh 30 thousand dollars to Daniels.

Recently, outside the Manhattan courtroom, Trump had accused the judge of bias and corruption. He had said that the judge is very corrupt. He had said that the case was rigged.

What are the cases against Trump?

There are four cases of criminal charges against Trump. Two of these charges have been filed at the federal level by Justice Department's special counsel Jack Smith. One of these is in New York and the other in Georgia. The verdict has come only in the New York case. There, in June, a jury convicted Trump on all 34 charges. Trump was also found guilty in two civil defamation cases filed by journalist E. Jean Carroll, in which the female journalist was awarded a total compensation of $88.4 million. Trump had appealed against both the decisions.

Apart from this, Trump has also appealed against the verdict of a civil case related to fraud, after a case was filed by New York Attorney General Letissa James. Under this, Trump and his companies were ordered to pay a fine of $ 454 million.
