To take the oath of office, newly elected President Donald Trump will use the Bible given by his mother and the Lincoln Bible. According to the report, Trump's swearing-in ceremony will be held inside the Capitol Rotunda, as the predicted temperature is going to be very cold. Let us tell you that Trump will be sworn in as US President for the second term on Monday, January 20.

According to the information received, Trump will take the oath with the Bible given by his mother. In 1955, Trump received this Bible on the occasion of his Sunday Church Primary School graduation at the First Presbyterian Church in Jamaica, New York.

This Bible is the 1953 Revised Standard Version published by Thomas Nelson & Sons in New York and has their name embossed on the bottom of the front cover.

The inside cover is signed by church officials and bears the president's name and details of when it was presented, the media release said.

Lincoln Bible will also be used in the oath-taking ceremony

The announcement said that apart from Trump's Bible, the Lincoln Bible will also be used for this historic ceremony. The Lincoln Bible was first used in the swearing-in ceremony of the 16th President on March 4, 1861.

It has been used only three times since then, by President Barack Obama at each of his inaugurations and by President Trump at his first inauguration in 2017. The book, which has a burgundy velvet binding, is part of the Library of Congress collection.

Vice President-elect J.D. Vance will use his grandmother's family Bible, the inaugural committee said. His mother, Bonnie, gave him the Bible on Sept. 22, 2003, the day he left home for the Marine Corps Recruit Depot at Parris Island, South Carolina. The Bible is the King James Version published by Thomas Nelson & Sons.

The swearing-in ceremony will take place at the Capitol Rotunda

US President-elect Donald Trump announced on Friday that his swearing-in ceremony has been moved indoors due to forecasts of severe cold. The ceremony will now be held in the Capitol Rotunda, rather than outside the US Capitol on the National Mall.

"Due to the extremely cold weather, I have ordered the swearing-in address, in addition to the prayer and other speeches, to be delivered in the United States Capitol Rotunda, as was done by Ronald Reagan in 1985," Trump said on his owned social media platform Truth Social.

He said, "Various dignitaries and guests will be brought to the Capitol. It will be a very beautiful experience for everyone and especially for the large number of TV viewers!" Trump said he would open the Capital One Arena on Monday to host a live view of the "historic event" and the presidential parade.
