Donald Trump is seen in action mode as soon as he took oath as the 47th President of America. He has started taking old revenge. Meanwhile, 51 American officials have been punished. Action has been taken against the officials who helped in the case of former President Joe Biden's son Hunter Biden. It is being said that Trump is not going to spare his enemies in any way.

President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Monday revoking the security clearances of 51 former intelligence officials who he claimed were involved in reporting on Hunter Biden's laptop, a "classic embargo" of Russian disinformation ahead of the 2020 election. Many of the former officials have long retired and no longer have active clearances, meaning the move may have limited practical effect on their careers, but the order nonetheless shows Trump intends to act on his claims to punish national security and intelligence professionals he views as his enemies.

At a campaign rally in June, Trump said of the 51 former officials who signed the letter, "They should be prosecuted for what they did." The executive order also directs the Director of National Intelligence to submit a report to the White House, which is to be submitted within 90 days.

The letter was signed by several top former officials from both the Obama and Bush administrations, including former Director of National Intelligence Jim Clapper, former CIA Director John Brennan, and former acting CIA Directors John McLaughlin and Michael Morell. Four years after the letter was written, its authors have become a major target for Republican lawmakers and Trump allies. GOP lawmakers on Capitol Hill have made the letter's origins a major focus point, calling several signatories to testify behind closed doors and releasing multiple reports on the matter.
