Once again a case of an attack on the ISKCON temple located in the Namhatta area of ​​​​Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, has come to light. Here the temple was set on fire late on Friday night. Due to this the idol of Lakshmi-Narayan and other religious clothes were completely burnt to ashes. BJP MP Sukanta Majumdar has condemned this entire incident, he said that this incident cannot be forgiven.

BJP MP Sukanta Majumdar wrote on social media platform X that I strongly condemn the arson at the ISKCON temple in the Namhatta area in Bangladesh. The idol of Shri Lakshmi Narayan and the items of the temple were destroyed in this arson. He said that this is an act of hatred towards a place of worship. Such an incident cannot be forgiven at any cost. Strict action should be taken against the culprits. Along with this, immediate action should be taken to ensure the safety of minorities.


Since Sheikh Hasina left power, minority temples and minority communities have been continuously targeted in Bangladesh. The situation has become such that rioters are not only setting fire to the houses of minority Hindus but also to establishments.
