Khalistanis attacked Hindus in a temple in Brampton, Canada. Canadian PM Justin Trudeau condemned this. Prime Minister Narendra Modi reacted to this. The suspended policeman has been identified as Harinder Sohi. He was seen on camera holding a Khalistan flag. Others at the protest were raising anti-India slogans. Peel Regional Police confirmed that they were aware of an online video showing an off-duty officer actively participating in the protest. Sohi has been suspended under the Policing Act.

In a statement issued by the police, it has been said that the department is investigating the incident. Further information will be shared. This action has taken place amid the ongoing uproar over the attack on the Hindu Sabha temple in Brampton by Khalistanis on Sunday. Protesters reached the temple premises carrying Khalistan flags and clashed with devotees.

The video of the incident was shared on social media, showing a group of people brandishing sticks and attacking devotees outside the Hindu Sabha Mandir. Peel Regional Police in Canada said they have arrested three persons in connection with the incident. In an official statement, Peel Regional Police said, the allegations will be investigated by the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau as well as the 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau. Police said that the persons were arrested under criminal charges.

The three arrested were identified as Dilpreet Singh Bounce, 43, of Mississauga, Vikas, 23, of Brampton, and Amritpal Singh, 31, of Mississauga.

PM Modi reacted to the attack on the Hindu temple. He strongly condemned the attack and called the violence a cowardly attempt to intimidate Indian diplomats in the country. PM Modi asked the Canadian government to address the attacks and ensure justice to uphold the rule of law.
