Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla said on Monday that India will participate in the first quad summit with a personal presence at the invitation of US President Joe Biden. The agenda for cooperation under the Quad Framework will be constructive. The four countries of the Quad Alliance, Australia, India, Japan, and the US are working on infrastructure connectivity, emerging technology, climate change, education, and the Corona crisis. In particular, work is being done with cooperation regarding the supply of the anti-Covid-19 vaccine.
Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla said supply chains need to be made credible and diversified to make them more resilient and reliable. This need is allowing us to work together. We are involved with the Kavad nations in initiatives to improve supply chain resilience. On the challenges being faced by neighboring countries, Shringla said that China is making us realize new realities in Afghanistan and on the eastern border.
