On the one hand, Bangladesh is demanding the extradition of Sheikh Hasina, while on the other hand, it has released the most dangerous man in India from jail. This man is none other than Abdus Salam Pintu, a former minister of the neighbouring country. Abdus had helped terrorists to attack India. He has carried out attacks in Sheikh Hasina's rally. Pintu is counted among the closest leaders of Khaleda Zia. The release of Abdus Salam Pintu is a matter of concern for both India and Sheikh Hasina.

The most dangerous man for India came out of Bangladesh jail, will he become a minister again?

Salam has been the education minister of Bangladesh. He held this post in Khaleda Zia's government. While in the government, he hatched many conspiracies against India and Hasina. He was arrested while funding terrorists. He used to fund a terrorist organization of Pakistan so that its terrorists could harm India through Kashmir. When the investigation was done, it was found that he not only funded the terrorists but also gave weapons and information to the terrorists.

The most dangerous minister in the history of Bangladesh

Khaleda Zia was in the Bangladesh government from 2001 to 2006. During that time, many terrorist organizations were either financing Pakistan or were trying to attack India after taking training in Pakistan.

But after the change of government, an investigation was conducted against Pintu, in which it was found that he was not only a radical but was also the most dangerous minister in the history of Bangladesh. He not only plotted against India, Sheikh Hasina was also on his target.

On August 21, 2004, he had carried out an attack on Hasina's rally, in which 24 people were killed. Sheikh Hasina was also injured in this attack. Pintu was arrested in 2008. He was sentenced to death in 2018.

But as soon as the power changed in Bangladesh in 2024, his golden days came and the court surprised everyone by ordering his release. On December 1, the court declared the previous verdict invalid and acquitted all the defendants in the case. Abdus Salam Pintu was elected MP from Tangail-2 in the 1991 and 2001 national elections.

Now the question arises whether he will become a minister again. The answer to this can be yes, because he is considered one of the closest leaders of Khaleda Zia. It will not be surprising if he is given a ministerial post again. He is the central vice chairman of BNP.
