Pakistan: President Zardari reached the Chinese Embassy a day after the suicide attack, and said – enemies hatched a conspiracy

A suicide occurred on Tuesday in Shangla of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. 6 people including 5 Chinese citizens were killed in this attack. A day after the attack, i.e. on Wednesday, Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari visited the Embassy of the People's Republic of China. During this, he strongly condemned the Shangla attack. Apart from this, he expressed condolences on behalf of the government and people of Pakistan on the killing of Chinese citizens.

President Zardari said that the criminals behind the terrorist act targeting Chinese citizens will not be spared. While giving assurance to the Chinese Ambassador, he said that the criminals involved in this act would get the strictest punishment under the law. Zardari said that the people of Pakistan stand in solidarity with the Chinese people in this hour of grief. The President of Pakistan further said that Pakistan and China are strengthening their bilateral relations, and our enemies are not able to accept this.

Zardari further said that all necessary measures will be taken to ensure the safety of Chinese nationals working on various projects in Pakistan. The Chinese diplomat thanked President Zardari for expressing his condolences and visiting the embassy. He appreciated that Pakistanis have condemned this terrorist attack.
