Hajjaj has alleged that Tulip played the role of mediator in the meeting between Bangladesh and Russian officials regarding the Ruppur Nuclear Power Plant.
In the meeting, the cost of the Ruppur Nuclear Power Plant project was increased by one billion dollars. According to Hajaz's allegations, about 30 percent of this amount was sent to Tulip Siddiqui and his family members through banks and foreign companies.
Close sources claim- the allegation is politically motivated.
In 2013, when the agreement related to this nuclear power plant was signed, Tulip Siddiq is also seen in the footage of Associated Press along with Sheikh Hasina and Putin.
