Media gathered in large numbers at the Modi-Trump meeting, so why was this journalist not allowed entry?

During the grand meeting between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump, a huge gathering of media was seen in the Oval Office. Journalists asked many tough questions to Modi and Trump. Answers were also given from both sides, but the discussion in Washington is about banning the entry of media.
News agency Associated Press says that its journalist was not given entry during the Modi-Trump meeting. The agency claims that the US administration did not send any invitation to its journalist to come. The agency has called it unfortunate.
It has already been banned twice
This is the third time that Associated Press journalists have been denied entry into Donald Trump's office. According to the agency, its journalists were also barred from an executive order signing ceremony on Tuesday and the swearing-in ceremony of National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump's press secretary says that it is up to the administration to decide which journalist will come to the Oval Office and which will not.
Question- Why was entry banned?
When Donald Trump became the President, he addressed the Gulf of Mexico as Gulf of America. Despite Trump's address, the agency still called it Gulf of Mexico. Not only this, during the Q&A session, Trump and his officials were also asked questions about this.
According to AP's executive editor Julie Pace, angered by this, the Trump administration banned media entry. Pace has written a letter to the White House Chief of Staff regarding the entire matter.
Pace says that he has no problem with the government's decision, but it is our duty to ask questions and inform the people. Associated Press was founded in the year 1846. It is a non-profit agency headquartered in New York.
