Israel is preparing to attack Iran's nuclear sites, a big war may break out.
After eliminating all the proxy groups of Iran in the Middle East, Israel is now preparing to deal with its biggest enemy Iran. Taking advantage of the coup of Bashar al-Assad in Syria, the Israeli Air Force has intensified preparations to attack Iran's nuclear sites.
The Times of Israel has given this information quoting Israeli military officials. According to the report, Israeli officials are calling the weakening of Tehran's proxy groups and the fall of the Assad regime in Syria a strategic opportunity.
Preparations underway to attack Iran's nuclear facilities
Israeli military officials said that following the weakening of Tehran's proxy groups in the Middle East and the fall of the Assad regime in Syria, the Israeli Air Force has stepped up its preparations for possible strikes against Iran's nuclear facilities. The IDF believes that an isolated Iran could further advance its nuclear program.
After the fall of the Assad regime in the Middle East, Israel took advantage of the opportunity and not only captured the buffer zone near the Golan Heights in Syria but also destroyed most of Syria's air defenses. The Israeli army believes that this is the right time to attack Iran's nuclear sites.
Is Iran developing nuclear weapons?
However, Iran has always denied developing nuclear weapons and says its space program and nuclear activities are entirely for civilian purposes. US intelligence agencies and the IAEA said Iran had an organized military nuclear program by 2003 and continued to develop its nuclear program beyond civilian needs. Israel argues that Iran never truly abandoned its nuclear weapons program and that many of its nuclear sites are buried under heavily fortified mountains.
Tension increased between Iran and Israel.
Tensions between Iran and Israel have been going on for a long time. In the past year, both countries have directly targeted each other several times. In April, Iran fired missiles in response to an attack near the Iranian embassy in Syria, and Israel also retaliated. After this, on October 1, Iran attacked Israel with 180 ballistic missiles, which caused more damage to Israel than before.
On the other hand, on 26 October, Israel avenged this attack and targeted many military and strategic targets of Iran. The Israeli army chief had warned Iran after this attack that if Iran took any action now, it would target those targets which the Jewish army has deliberately left untouched in the 26 October attack.
If there is an attack, a big war can break out!
Although Israel wanted to attack Iran's nuclear bases during this attack too, it did not get the support of US President Joe Biden then. Now that the change of power in America is certain and Netanyahu's close aide Donald Trump is about to take over, Israel is completely fearless and is making a solid strategy against Iran.
On the other hand, Iran has threatened many times that it can take even bigger action against the Jewish regime than before, in such a situation, if Israel targets Tehran's nuclear sites, then obviously the ongoing tension between the two countries can turn into a major conflict.
