Islamabad High Court has given a big relief to former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan in the Toshakhana corruption case. The court suspended the 14-year sentence given to Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in this case.

On January 31, both were sentenced to 14-14 years in jail by the accountability court in the case of corruption in government gifts received from Toshakhana. This was challenged by both sides in the Islamabad High Court.

Now, in this case, the Islamabad High Court gave temporary relief to Imran Khan and his wife by suspending their sentence and granting them bail. However, the court also said that his appeal against the conviction will be heard after the Eid holidays next month. However, there is little hope of Imran getting released now. He is guilty in other cases also. The same is the case with his wife Bushra.
