ISKCON has clarified its stand on Chinmay Krishna Das's arrest in Bangladesh. In a statement issued by it, it was said that ISKCON Bangladesh supports Hindu saint Chinmay Krishna Das. ISKCON supports Chinmay Krishna Das' peaceful protest to protect Hindus and their places of worship. ISKCON has neither refused to support his rights and freedom nor has it kept itself away from it.

In fact, ISKCON Bangladesh General Secretary Charu Chandra Das had said in a statement that Chinmay Prabhu had been expelled from ISKCON. ISKCON is not responsible for the steps and statements taken by him, on which ISKCON has now clarified its stand and said that it is with Chinmay Prabhu's peaceful protest.

No ban on ISKCON

Amidst all these incidents, the High Court of Bangladesh has not banned ISKCON and has refused to do so.
