After the attack on Israel on October 1, Iran stated that its attack was 90 percent successful. Whereas Israel had said that it had shot down most of the missiles fired by Iran in the air itself and the number of casualties was very low. A report from the Israel Tax Department, which came about two weeks after the attack, is contrary to this claim of the Israeli army.

Israel often imposes a media embargo after any such attack, so that news of the damage caused by it cannot go out. Still, from some pictures shared on social media and Iran's claims, it seems that this attack is much bigger than the previous attack. Now the report of the Israel Tax Department has revealed that Iran's attack had caused terrible devastation in Israel.

According to the Israel Tax Department, the Iranian-sponsored attack caused damages of between $40 and $53 million. The report said that in the two weeks following the October 1 attack, nearly 2,500 insurance claims were made, more than half of them in northern Tel Aviv, where apartments and several commercial buildings were damaged.

The biggest impact of this Israeli attack was on the Israeli city of Hod Hasharon, where according to insurance claims, more than a thousand houses have been damaged. Tel Aviv came second, where dozens of apartments and a restaurant were targeted. Although it is not clear from this report how many buildings were damaged by the direct attack and how many by the debris of missiles destroyed in the air, the figures of insurance claims show that Iran has caused huge damage to Israel in this attack.

Huge compensation was given in last year

A statement from the Israel Tax Department said that it has paid about 375 million US dollars to compensate for the losses incurred in the war that has been going on for the past year. Apart from this, a report has claimed that more than 25 million US dollars are still pending. These figures do not include the losses for which compensation has not been claimed.

The attacks by Hezbollah in support of Hamas for the past year have caused a very deep economic blow to Israel. While about 60 thousand Israelis living near the Lebanon border have been displaced, its Haifa port is also on the verge of closure due to the attacks. On the other hand, its Eilat port has already become bankrupt even before the Houthis' Red Sea siege.

Apart from this, due to Israel's ongoing action in Lebanon, about 1 million people have been displaced from South Lebanon and about 2 thousand people have lost their lives.

Iran attacks and Israel vows revenge.

Iran fired around 200 missiles on Israel on October 1 to avenge the death of Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah, Hamas political chief Ismail Haniyeh, and other IRGC leaders. After which Israel has vowed to respond to Iran. Due to the tension between Iran and Israel, the possibility of a big war in the entire region has increased.

Iran had carried out a similar attack in April this year, in which Iran fired 300 drones and 100 ballistic missiles on Israel. In this attack, only four or five missiles were able to penetrate the Israeli air defense and many were destroyed in Iraq and Jordan.
