Along with this, countries like Saudi Arabia and UAE have also made many investments in India.
GCC is important for many international issues
Saudi Arabia and the UAE dominate the GCC. In terms of diplomacy, these countries can prove to be helpful to India at the international level. While countries like Turkey and Malaysia have been seen leaning towards Pakistan on the Kashmir 370 issue, Saudi Arabia has maintained silence on this matter. India is also being seen as a potential mediator in the Palestine-Israel dispute, in such a situation, India can show itself as a good mediator at the international level by joining hands with these countries.
