Indian-origin man jailed in Singapore, for which crime was he sentenced?

According to media reports, he was accused of murdering Mohammed Israt Mohammed Ismail (29) after a dispute at the Concorde Hotel and Shopping Mall on August 20, 2023, at around 6 am. The case of 30-year-old Sukumaran of Indian origin is still in court. He allegedly took Ismail's knife and attacked him several times. Vishnu has been sentenced for his involvement in the same case.

28-year-old Vishnu Suriyamurthy, a resident of Indian origin, is a habitual offender. He has been to jail several times before. According to media reports, a separate case of illegal gambling was also registered against Suriyamurthy, which he accepted. Later, the court also imposed a fine of 2,000 SGD on him in this case.

At around 6 am, when the club was closing, Israt's gang suddenly started abusing Vishnu's gang. After this a fight broke out. Pillai Sukumaran of Vishnu's gang allegedly attacked Israt with a knife. Due to which Mohammed Israt Mohammed Ismail died. The case of which is still going on in the court.
