A new study has revealed that most employees in the UAE are considering changing their jobs, citing the demand for better and more personalized benefits, especially health and future benefits.

What does the study say?

This was revealed in the 2025 Employees Sentiment Study, released by global professional services firm Aon. According to the study, 10% of employees feel that their company is not giving them the importance they deserve. 10% of employees do not believe that their company is investing in their skills and future preparation.

UAE employees believe that their companies can do more to improve talent strategy and employee experience. Apart from this, employees are now prioritizing benefits like career development plans and global standard retirement savings. Personalized benefits like work-life balance and medical coverage have become their main demands.

What do UAE workers want?

Aon's report states that the UAE is one of the fastest growing talent markets in the Middle East and Africa. Companies here are constantly working to strengthen the Employee Value Proposition (EVP). The top 5 favorite benefits of UAE employees are as follows - medical coverage, work-life balance programs, paid time-off (holidays), career development, retirement savings.

83% of employees are willing to give up their current benefits for a better package. 45% of employees want to join companies that offer above-average salaries and better benefits. UAE employees prefer companies that provide a fun work environment, match employee values, recognise and reward good performance, and promote teamwork and collaboration.
