Israel once again carried out a major attack in the Gaza Strip. At least 12 Palestinian civilians, mostly women and children, were killed in the attacks on Wednesday. The Israeli army attacked Jabalia in northern Gaza, Burej refugee camp in central Gaza, and Khan Younis in southern Gaza. This has been going on continuously in Gaza for the last 15 months.

Gaza's health ministry said seven people were killed in the attack in Jabalia, including a woman and four children. Jabalia is the most isolated and worst affected area of ​​northern Gaza, where Israel has rained heavy attacks since October. At the same time, a woman and a child were killed in another attack in the Bureij refugee camp.

Third attack in Khan Younis

Three people were killed in the third attack in Khan Younis, a southern city in Gaza. Nasir Hospital and European Hospital reported these deaths. Meanwhile, a man carrying the body of a child said, "Are you celebrating? We have been dying for one and a half years."

Israeli army's claim and warning

The Israeli army said that they had targeted Hamas fighters. The army claims that rockets were fired at Israel from the Bureij area, in response to which the attack was carried out. The army also said that they only target terrorists and blamed Hamas for civilian casualties. Israel Defense Minister Israel Katz has warned that if Hamas does not release the hostages and continues the attacks, they will face the worst attack ever in Gaza.

According to the Gaza Health Ministry, so far more than 45,000 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli air and ground attacks. More than half of them are women and children. At the same time, thousands of people living in tents in coastal areas are facing very bad conditions due to cold and heavy rains in the winter season. The ministry said that so far at least six newborn babies and another person have died due to cold.
