Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a one-day visit to Ukraine. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warmly welcomed him. Several issues were discussed between the two leaders. After this, India and Ukraine signed four agreements. These include important issues like agriculture, the food industry, medicine, culture, and humanitarian aid. Most of the discussions between Prime Minister Modi and President Zelensky were regarding the war in Ukraine. This information has been given by Foreign Minister S Jaishankar.

My visit to Ukraine was historic: PM Modi

PM Modi has made several posts on the social media platform X regarding his visit to Ukraine. In one of the posts, he wrote, "My visit to Ukraine was historic. I have come here to deepen India-Ukraine friendship. Had a meaningful conversation with President Zelensky. India has always been in favor of peace. Peace should prevail. I thank the government and people of Ukraine for their hospitality."

India-Ukraine signed 4 MoUs

During this visit of the PM, India and Ukraine signed 4 important MoUs (Memorandum of Understanding). These included agreements on humanitarian aid, agriculture, food, cultural cooperation, and medicine and drugs.
