After the coup in Syria, a 16-year-old video of Muammar Gaddafi is going viral, in which Gaddafi has predicted the bad fate of Arab leaders. This speech of Gaddafi is from the Syrian capital Damascus, in which he is seen saying after the death of Saddam Hussein that the end of all Arab leaders can be like this.

In 2008, Gaddafi made this prediction at the Arab leaders' summit held in Damascus. After Saddam Hussein was hanged, Gaddafi said, "Whatever happened to Saddam, the same will happen to all of us." At that time, no one took his words seriously. Egypt's then-president Hosni Mubarak and Assad, sitting in the meeting, were laughing.

Gaddafi's predictions started coming true in 2011

Just three years after the speech, a wave of revolution spread in the Arab world and anti-government protests started in many countries. In 2011, Hosni Mubarak lost power in Egypt. The fire of these protests spread to Libya as well and Gaddafi was killed in 2011 and since then there has been unrest in Libya.

Assad also ends after 13 years.

The spark of revolution that arose in 2011 also ended the government of Bashar al-Assad in 2024 after a 14-year-long war. After this people are again remembering Gaddafi and praising his foresight and understanding of America's intentions.

hanging of Saddam Hussein

In 2003, America attacked Iraq. America sent troops to Iraq claiming that Iraq was making destructive weapons and President Saddam Hussein had committed war crimes. After the overthrow of Saddam's government, he was arrested. On 30 December 2006, former President Saddam Hussein was hanged on charges of war crimes and human rights violations.
