A flight from Azerbaijan to Russia has crashed in Kazakhstan. There were 67 people on board the flight. Kazakhstan's Emergency Ministry says 42 people are likely to have died in the accident. The ministry confirmed in a statement that there were 67 people on board the plane, including five crew members. 25 people survived the accident.

The plane was going from Baku in Azerbaijan to Grozny, the capital of Chechnya in Russia. The plane was damaged after colliding with a flock of birds. This accident happened on the runway while attempting an emergency landing.

The plane that was the victim of the accident belongs to Azerbaijan Airlines. Kazakhstan's Transport Ministry said that there were 62 passengers and five crew members on board the crashed plane. Azerbaijan, citing the airline, said that the cause of the accident was a collision between the plane and a flock of birds.

A video of the accident has surfaced on social media, in which a plane can be seen crashing on the ground and turning into a ball of fire. There has been no comment from Azerbaijan Airlines on the accident.

Recently 10 people were killed in a plane crash in Brazil. The 10 people who died were passengers and crew members on board the plane. Brazil's civil security agency said that more than a dozen people on the ground were injured in the incident.
