Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau often makes anti-India statements. After the murder of Khalistani supporter Hardeep Singh Nijjar last year, he had questioned India's role. Since then, relations between India and Canada have soured. Trudeau, who from time to time makes statements on issues that India does not like, has got into trouble in his own country. On his statement on Nijjar, Conservative Party chief and opposition leader Pierre Poiliev had said that Trudeau has not understood the value of relations with India. Now a no-confidence motion is being brought to oust Trudeau's government.

Canada is known for its easy visa, immigration policy and being the first choice of foreign students. It is not very difficult to get permanent residency (PR) in Canada. But in the last few years of Trudeau's rule, inflation has skyrocketed, house prices have increased and taxes have been increased. Because of this, not only foreign workers and students but also Canadians have become disillusioned with Trudeau and they are on the verge of being ousted from power.

Opposition Leader Poilievre introduced a motion of no-confidence against Trudeau in the House of Commons on Tuesday and urged MPs to oust the Liberal government.

General elections for the Prime Minister are to be held in Canada next year. Pre-election surveys have shown Trudeau lagging behind. Trudeau has also sensed the anger brewing against him and has started making decisions beyond party ideology.

Prime Minister Trudeau belongs to the Liberal Party of Canada, the Liberal Party is considered to be the center left, which follows the ideology of socialism. Recently Trudeau has announced that he will reduce work permits and student visas, after which students and youth from many developing countries including Indians who dream of a good life in Canada have been shocked. Apart from this, the people working there are also facing the threat of losing their jobs.

Opposition dominates, and allies desert them.

Due to the increased house prices, inflation, and unemployment in Canada, anger against Trudeau has started growing in the country. His opponent Pierre Poiliev is leaving no stone unturned to take advantage of this opportunity and is opposing Trudeau's policies at various places. The surveys conducted for the last year have been in favor of the Conservative Party and if the situation remains the same till the next election, then a Conservative majority government can be formed in Canada.

At the same time, the New Democratic Party (NDP), which was part of Trudeau's party's alliance, has broken its alliance with him. The president of NDP is Indian-origin Sikh Jagmeet Singh. In India, Jagmeet Singh is also seen as a Khalistani supporter, but despite Trudeau's Khalistani advocacy, he has withdrawn his support from the Liberal Party.

Jagmeet Singh is also an opponent of Poilievre and keeps making statements against him. Speaking on Pierre's health care policy, Jagmeet said that if Pierre comes to power, he will destroy the health service brick by brick and you will not be able to get good care during illness. Jagmeet alleged that Pierre wants to give your money to a few rich people in the country.

Trudeau's opposition will be harmful to Indians.

The popularity of Canada's main opposition leader Pierre Poilievre is increasing for the post of Prime Minister. But experts consider him dangerous for immigrants, he comes from the Conservative Party. Which is a center right-wing party and its policies are anti-immigrant. Experts believe that if Pierre comes to power, he can implement many policies against foreign workers and students.
