A terrorist attack took place in New Orleans, America on the first day of the New Year in which more than 14 people died. This attack is being investigated, recently President Joe Biden has made many important revelations about this attack. President Joe Biden said that New Orleans truck attacker Shamsuddin Jabbar had planted two improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in ice coolers at two locations in the French Quarter and the truck had a remote detonator, which rammed into the crowd of New Year's celebrants on Bourbon Street.

This attack shook the whole of America. A pickup truck ran over the crowd and in this attack about 14 people died and about 30 people were injured. Also, the police took action immediately after the attack and killed the accused Shamsuddin Jabbar (42).

FBI is investigating

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is investigating this case. According to the information received so far, Shamsuddin Jabbar has also served in the US Army. He was also close to and loyal to ISIS. The FBI found in its investigation that Jabbar had kept two IEDs in a cooler, which have been recovered.

President Biden said his investigation determined the attacker was the same person who had placed IEDs in ice coolers at two nearby locations in the French Quarter hours before the crowd entered. The vehicle had a remote detonator to set off those two ice chests.

Jabbar's Connection with ISIS

The FBI said that Shamsuddin Jabbar was an ISIS supporter. An ISIS flag was also found in his truck and he has been continuously expressing his support for ISIS through his social media posts.

After this attack, President Biden assured the countrymen that America is constantly pursuing ISIS and other terrorist organizations. Baden said, we will constantly pursue ISIS and other terrorist organizations to where they are and they will not find any safe haven here.

Also, while it was earlier suspected that three or four people were involved in this attack, now the FBI has revealed that the driver did this alone and he was '100 percent' inspired by the Islamic State.

Who was the accused Shamsuddin Jabbar

Immediately after the attack, the FBI revealed all the information about the accused Shamsuddin Jabbar. The FBI said that Jabbar was an American citizen and just before the attack, he had posted 5 videos in support of ISIS.

Christopher Raya, deputy assistant director of the FBI's counter-terrorism department, said that this was a terrorist attack. Raya also said that there is no connection between the two attacks in America on the same day in New Orleans and Las Vegas.

He said there was no connection between the attack in New Orleans and the explosion in the Tesla Cybertruck bar of Trump's Las Vegas hotel on Wednesday. Also, officials said that the person in the explosion in the Tesla Cybertruck was a US Army Green Beret, and he had shot himself in the head just before the explosion.
