Amid Israel-Hamas dispute, Spain made this announcement regarding Palestine

Amidst the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, Spain has decided to take a big step regarding Palestine. According to reports, Spain now plans to triple the aid to Palestine in 2023. Spain's acting Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Alberes has given this information through social media. 

Earlier, after the EU Foreign Ministerial meeting in Luxembourg, Spain's acting Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Alberes had said that Spain has increased humanitarian aid to the people of Palestine to 21 million euros and is preparing to double this amount in the near future.

Jose Manuel Albares said via social media that we have prepared a new aid package in the amount of 26 million euros for the Palestinian people amid the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip. In this he wrote that we will triple cooperation with Palestine. Spain will provide 48.5 million euros in 2023.
