America: Shooting in a club in Houston, two minors killed, 3 injured

Two teenagers were killed and three people were injured in a shooting at a temporary club in Houston, USA. A 13-year-old boy was also among the dead. Assistant Chief Luis Menendez-Sierra said that officers who arrived at the shooting scene late Saturday night found a large crowd of people running out of a club.

He said the police did not have any information about any suspects yet. He asked those present at the event to call the police for any information.

Two minors died

Menendez-Sierra said a 16-year-old boy died at the scene, while a teenage girl died at a hospital. He said the injured 13-year-old boy was in critical condition. Menendez-Sierra said most of the participants in the event were minors.

Violence at pop-up parties

Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said in a post on X that temporary, unsanctioned pop-up parties can quickly lead to chaos and violence. He said pop-up parties raise public safety concerns and teens need to stay away for their own safety.

Four people killed in Alabama shooting

The shooting incident took place in Birmingham, Alabama, USA. At least four people were killed in this incident, while dozens were injured. Police officer Truman Fitzgerald told local media that we believe this incident happened after 11:00 pm in Birmingham's Five Point South district. At the same time, according to information received from initial reports, the patrons of the club were standing in line outside the hookah and cigar lounge on Magnolia Avenue when the firing took place.

Fitzgerald further gave information about the incident and said that dozens of people were injured in the firing and at least four people died. He said that others have suffered serious injuries.
