Six international aid workers from World Central Kitchen were killed in an air strike by Israel in Gaza, including Laljawmi Frankcom, a woman of Indian origin. Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese confirmed that Frankcom, 43, was among those killed and demanded the Israeli government take full responsibility for the incident.

He said that six international aid workers from the World Central Kitchen were volunteering to provide relief to people in the war-torn Gaza area. It cannot be accepted that those people were killed in this war. We demand full accountability for this.

According to media reports, Frankcom, born to an Australian father and Mizo mother, was working on a mission to provide relief to the people of war-torn northern Gaza, but she died in an Israeli airstrike on her convoy late on Monday night.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also admitted that the attack was carried out by Israeli forces. The seven people killed in this attack are citizens of Australia, Poland, Britain, Palestine, America and Canada.
