400 IndiGo passengers stranded at Istanbul airport, hungry for the last 24 hours
400 IndiGo passengers are stranded at Istanbul airport for the last 24 hours. This has happened due to the flight delay (6E0018). The airline says that the flight is getting delayed due to operational reasons. The stranded passengers are from New Delhi, Mumbai and Turkey. They are not getting any food to eat and have no special accommodation facility. All these passengers are stranded at the airport for the last 24 hours.
There is a lot of anger among the passengers regarding the delay in the flight. Passengers claimed on social media platforms X and LinkedIn that the flight was first delayed and then canceled without any notice. One of these passengers, Anushree Bhansali, said that the flight was delayed by an hour twice, then canceled and finally rescheduled after 12 hours. This is the reason why passengers have been stranded here for the last 24 hours.
Hey @IndiGo6E , your handling of flight 6E0018 from Istanbul to Mumbai on Dec 12 has been a disaster. Scheduled to depart at 8:15 PM, it was delayed to 11 PM on the same day. Fine, we waited. Then it was shockingly pushed to 10 AM the next day. What’s going on?

Passengers attacked Indigo Airlines.
Passengers have complained of exhaustion and fever. Passengers said that they are neither getting anything to eat here nor any arrangements have been made for accommodation. Even the IndiGo representative at the airport did not contact them. Parshwa Mehta, who was going to Mumbai, tweeted, that the flight was scheduled to take off at 8.15 pm, which was postponed to 11 pm and then to 10 am the next day. No announcement was made by IndiGo. Information was obtained from the crew of Turkish Airlines.
Parshwa Mehta attacked the airline by tweeting one after the other. He said that no alternative flight was offered. Many related information was not shared. After such a bad experience, how can you expect passengers to trust your airline? We were told that we would get lounge facilities at Istanbul airport as compensation but the lounge was too small for such a large number of stranded passengers. Many of us stood for hours.
