'3 F' crisis due to war and unrest, PM Modi warned the whole world from the G20 platform.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has warned about the dangers posed by the ongoing conflicts in the world from the platform of the G20 Summit in Brazil. Expressing his concerns, PM Modi focused on the crisis of 3F.
PM Modi said that the countries of the Global South are the most affected by the food, fuel, and fertilizer crisis due to global conflicts and the G-20 should prioritize their concerns and priorities. The Global South includes countries like India, China, Brazil Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.
Narendra Modi made it clear that the fights of other countries are affecting the Global South, so the issues of the Global South should be given attention first. In his address on the first day of the G-20 summit, Modi praised the Brazilian presidency for taking forward India's 'people-centric decisions' taken in the G-20. He said that the call of the Indian G-20 presidency for 'one earth, one family, one future' resonated in the Rio talks.

The Prime Minister said in the G-20 session on 'Social Inclusion and Fight against Hunger and Poverty', "I would like to say that the countries of the Global South are the most affected by the food, fuel, and fertilizer crisis due to global conflicts. Therefore, our discussions can be successful only when we keep in mind the challenges and priorities of the Global South."

PM Modi promised India's full support to the G-20 initiative 'Fight Against Hunger and Poverty'. In a post on X, he wrote, "India assures full support to this effort."

Speaking about the steps taken by India to strengthen food security in Africa and elsewhere, the Prime Minister said, “More than 800 million people are being given free food grains, 550 million people are availing the world's largest health insurance scheme.” He further said, “Now 60 million senior citizens above 70 years of age will also be able to avail free health insurance.”
