'You will get the admit card only if you pay the fees'… Despite pleading, the principal did not give it, the intermediate student committed suicide.

A student of UP Board has committed suicide in Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh. This student, who was studying intermediate, was not able to deposit the fees in his college. Due to this, the principal withheld his admit card. Even after running around for about five days, he did not get the admit card, so he committed suicide by hanging himself. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot, took the body in custody and sent it for post-mortem.

In this regard, Jetwara police station has registered a case on the complaint of the family members. Police is investigating the matter. The case is of Dhansari village of Jetwara police station area. Shivam Singh, a student living in this village, was studying in class 12 in Sadhuri Shiromani Inter College. It is being told that Shivam's fees of Rs 5 thousand were pending in the inter college. Due to not depositing this amount, he was humiliated many times in the school.

The family is in financial trouble

He was not even given an admit card. Due to which he could not appear in the examination which started on 24th February. Disappointed by this, the student committed suicide. After the incident, there is chaos in Shivam's family. According to the family members, Shivam's sister has been ill for the last four months. Due to which his family is already troubled by financial crisis. Due to this, Shivam's fees could not be deposited.

Humiliated in school for fees

With great difficulty, Shivam's family arranged two thousand rupees and sent him to school, but he was humiliated in the school. Additional Superintendent of Police (Western) Sanjay Rai said that on the basis of the complaint of the deceased's family, a case has been registered against the school management and investigation has been started. Further action will be taken according to whatever facts will come out during the investigation.
