When the student woke up in the morning, she received a call. The caller introduced himself as an inspector of the crime branch and said that you were watching porn videos at night, and now this information will be given to your parents.

A call came to a 12th-class student

On hearing the voice, the student got scared and started pleading with the caller not to do this. However, the caller agreed and said that if she gave him 15 thousand rupees, he would not tell anyone. The student gave the money, but despite this, the caller started increasing his demand. After this, the student told the whole thing to her brother and then lodged a complaint in the cyber cell of Lucknow.

Cyber ​​cell in-charge Satish Sahu said that this student of Gomti Nagar is not the only victim. In the last few months, many such students have come to the cyber cell, who are being cheated in this way. Due to fear, the students are not filing complaints. It is very easy for cyber criminals to trap the students by scaring them. However, we have arrested many such criminals who make victims of sextortion through video calls. After receiving these complaints, we will not only interrogate those criminals but are also investigating cyber criminals active in the surrounding districts.
