In Telangana, a retired soldier killed his wife and then chopped her body into pieces and boiled it in a pressure cooker. After this, the accused Guru Murthy filed a missing person's case of his wife Venkat Madhavi. When the police investigated the case, the truth came out. The accused and his wife Venkat Madhavi were married 13 years ago.

PTI, Hyderabad. A heart-wrenching incident took place in Telangana's Rangareddy district. An ex-soldier crossed all limits of brutality. Ex-soldier Guru Murthy killed his wife, then chopped her body into pieces and then boiled it in a pressure cooker.

The accused, Guru Murthy, along with his parents, had lodged a complaint at the police station in Meerpet on the outskirts of Hyderabad on January 18 that his wife Venkat Madhavi was missing.

Police questioned the husband

When the police started investigating the case, it was found that there was a quarrel going on between the husband and wife for the past few days. After this, the police took Guru Murthy into custody and interrogated him. After this, the whole truth came out. The accused admitted that he had killed his wife.

The accused confessed his crime

After interrogation, the accused told that he chopped the body into pieces, cooked them in a pressure cooker and then threw them in the pond. The police is currently collecting evidence based on the statement of Guru Murthy. The body parts are being searched for.

Guru Murthy has retired from the army. The accused and his wife Venkat Madhavi were married 13 years ago. They have two children. Mirpet police said that investigation into the murder case is underway
