A tragic accident happened 2 years ago.

2 years ago on 22 March 2022, an incident took place in Kajwali Chak of the city, which no one can forget. Around 11:30 at night, when the whole city was going to bed to get a peaceful sleep, suddenly there was a huge explosion, which created chaos. People's eyes were wide open after seeing the scene of the incident. Three big concrete houses were razed to the ground. At the same time, the bodies of 15 people came out from inside the debris.

When 15 people lost their lives in the blast

This incident happened during the making of bombs. More than a dozen people were injured in the incident. There were many points of investigation as to why such a powerful bomb was being made. Where was it being sent, this incident proves that if the police had been alert, 15 people would not have lost their lives. In this case, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar summoned many senior officials and reprimanded them. The charge station was suspended. ADG along with STF was also sent to Bhagalpur. It cannot be denied from this incident that some big conspiracy is being hatched in the city.

The illegal business of making bombs is flourishing in Bhagalpur district because a large quantity of gunpowder is easily available here from Sheikhpura, Nawada, Jharia, and Pakur. The illegal business of making firecrackers is also carried out inside every house in many areas of Kajwali Chak, Habibpur, and Nathnagar, but the police are not taking the incidents of explosions seriously, due to which such incidents are constantly coming to light. People believe that after the incident, the police took it lightly and all the files of investigation are closed, due to which the business of making weapons of death is increasing.

When was Bhagalpur shaken by bomb blasts?

Just 15 months ago, on 25 June 2023, there was an explosion in the house of Abdul Ghani, a resident of Hussainabad, in which his entire house was razed to the ground and his 17-year-old son Mohammad Taushif died in the incident. On 15 June 2023, there was a blast in the house next to the garden in Manoharpur, Nathnagar, while children were playing, in which two children were seriously injured. At the same time, 3 years ago on 13 December 2021, a child died in a bomb blast at Makdoom Shah Darghat in Nathnagar. On February 17 this year, a detonator bomb was placed on the platform of Nathnagar railway station, which was defused by the bomb disposal squad.
