A shameful and heartbreaking incident happened in Maynaguri of Jalpaiguri in West Bengal. Here a young man beat up his own mother in a minor dispute and broke her head. In this incident, the elderly woman died on the spot. The elderly woman had first given poha-tea to her elder son. This angered the younger son and he started beating his mother and brother. In this incident, the accused has also beaten and injured his elder brother.

After the incident, the accused took his bicycle from the house and was trying to escape after selling it. Meanwhile, the police caught him. The police is investigating the matter. According to the police, the deceased woman has been identified as Suniti Roy. Her husband had died recently. He was a teacher in a government school. After his death, Suniti started getting pension and the household expenses were being met from this pension. She has two sons. The elder one, Dilip, remains ill. While the younger son, Bappi Roy, is unemployed.

When the mother came to save her elder son, he was attacked

Due to this, there is a constant conflict in the family. Bappi Roy always quarreled with his mother because she always favors his elder brother Dilip Roy. In this sequence, on Sunday afternoon, Suniti made poha and tea and first gave it to Dilip. Bappi got so angry on this that he first beat up his elder brother and when Suniti tried to save him, the accused beat her too and attacked her with a sharp weapon.

He fled after selling his bicycle on the way

Due to this, Suniti's head got fractured. She was rushed to the hospital, where she died during treatment. Meanwhile, after the incident, the accused left the house on a bicycle and was trying to escape after selling the bicycle somewhere on the way. Meanwhile, the police chased him and caught him. According to Superintendent of Police Umesh Khandbahal, the accused will be produced in the court and an attempt will be made to take him on remand for further interrogation.
